Portraits you'll want to hug forever!
I believe we should all learn from a dog's wonderful optimism and love for live! They give 100% in whatever they do and in the love they give. With every photo I take my purpose with The Dog Project is to celebrate all dogs, their unique individual personalities, and the emotional bond they share with you. I use professional lighting and camera equipement with a few tricks of the trade to explore the many sides of a dog's emotions and moods, and to capture in a split second the glimpses of their expressions. I am one of the most specialised dog photographers on the market, offering the best prices, the greatest number of edited digital images by far, and the fastest turnaround. My goal is to capture the most amazing portraits you'll want to hug forever!

WHAT I DO: PHOTOSHOOTS FOR INDIVIDUALS & COMPANIES
I organise photoshoots for all dog owners, associations, local events and pet businesses. Projects include a series of images for someone looking to celebrate the life and companionship of their pet, a bank of images for pet food brands, and even calendars for animal based associations. Images can be delivered as prints and digital files.I am currently based in Brighton, UK, and may travel across the country, the channel or the pond for the right projects.
My partnerships include animal shelters in Paris (SPA - Société Protectrice des Animaux), Franklin Pet Food, My Pet Agency, Handi'Chiens, Tout pour le Toutou Conciergerie, Pet & Co, Woof Run, as well as Instagram influencers Emma & Joy, Lingly & Maya, and Choupette Lagerfeld.
SUPPORT TO ANIMAL SHELTERS + TV DOCUMENTARY
In the last few years, life took me to several countries after being in the UK for almost 15 years. During this time I worked closely with animal shelters both in Copenhagen and Paris. Those photo sessions aimed at making positive and personality-based portraits of abandoned animals, such as dogs and cats, but also small mammals (also known as 'pocket pets'), in order to help them find a new loving home.Popular French TV channel C8 followed me during one of those sometimes challenging photoshoots for one of the most popular animal TV shows in the country, called 'Animaux à Adopter' (Animals to Adopt). The episode took place in the Saint Omer's shelter in the north of France with a wonderful team of selfless employees and volunteers! (see video below):

PHOTOSHOOTS FOR DOG OWNERS
Dogs (and cats) may have a short life but their impact in our lives is intense. Through photography my primary goal is to capture expressive portraits and trigger emotions, so you can see and discover sides of your pet you may have never seen before, and turn them into funny and loveable prints to decorate your walls and home.Book a photo experience for your dog today, and get unusual images to hug forever!
COMMERCIAL SHOOTS FOR COMPANIES & PET BUSINESSES
I regularly work with pet companies of all sizes to provide a particular image or bank of images to promote their products and services in a unique way.Feel free to contact me to share and discuss your project.
PHOTOSOOTS FOR ASSOCIATIONS - CALENDAR FOR HANDI'CHIENS
Emotion packed images are the perfect way to draw attention to an important cause. For example, Handi'Chiens is a French association that provides fully trained assistant dogs for free to children and adults with a disability. Their calendar helped raise a huge amount of money to finance the training of their dogs. It takes £12,000 to train one dog.Assistant dogs are by nature sensible and may be perceived as emotionless, so the aim of this photoshoot was to capture their true, fun and individual personality, to give a dynamic and positive image of theses wonderful dogs. The photo session took place at the amazing Residence of the British Ambassador to France in Paris.
PARTNERSHIPS & POP-UP EVENTS
The Dog Project sometimes takes part in local shows and events in order to create original pop-up photoshoots, such as Pet & Co at Ground Control in Paris, or the Woof Run in the ground of the Bertichères chateau.

PETS WITH PERSONALITY
WHO AM I - AND WHY SHOULD YOU TRUST ME?
I started to take professional photos of dogs outdoors playing in parks when I was living in Copenhagen, inspired by dog photographers based in Australia. What I didn't take into account is that the weather in Northern Europe is very different. When I moved to Paris a few years later I decided to focus on indoor portraits and never looked back. Studio portraits focus on the most gorgeous and expressive part of a dog - their head. Dogs have about 100 different expressions and most are made with their ears, mouth, eyes and eyebrows! Dogs know that creating eye contact with a human signals a level of trust and comfort. And that's what I am trying to capture with my portraits.
After 8 years abroad in Denmark and France, I am now back in Brighton to create unique and fabulous pet portraits for all the pets in the south east area. I spent many of my years in Brighton working as a care worker alongside children and adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. Then during 8 years abroad I honed my photography skills and developped a particular style photographing hundreds of different dogs from extremely shy rescued Olaff to super energetic young Poppy, and all the personalities in between. Whether your dog is scared, timid, camera shy, or has ADHD, I have worked with all of them, creating amazing portraits and souvenirs for their humans.
Why would you want professional photos of you dog?
Because you love them and they are absolutely everything for you. They're your forever baby, your non-grumpy teenager who loves you the way you are. I use professional equipment and specialised lighting that freezes movement that smartphone cameras just cannot do.
